Powerhouse Park

Powerhouse Park

The complete reconstruction of Powerhouse Park on the beach in Del Mar was a highly sensitive project, both from an environmental standpoint and with the neighboring community. Columbia Cascade Timber Equipment was utilized to compliment the rustic theme of the entire park, along with new seatwalls throughout fabricated & poured with a “weathered” appearance.

University Gardens Park

University Gardens Park

When we were awarded the design/build contract by the City of San Diego for a new playground at University Gardens Park, I thought a prehistoric theme would be fun, interesting, & something we haven’t seen before. Working with the design team at Landscape Structures & Coast Recreation, we fabricated many custom pieces including a T-Rex slide, a Brontosaurus slide, & a Pterodactyl keeping watch over it’s nest of eggs as well as the entire playground. Prehistoric climbing boulders, custom poured faux-rock benches, and poured-in-place rubber “jumping rocks” completed one of the most unusual playgrounds you will see and one your kids will love.
