University Gardens Park
Posted by admin in | July 9, 2013When we were awarded the design/build contract by the City of San Diego for a new playground at University Gardens Park, I thought a prehistoric theme would be fun, interesting, & something we haven’t seen before. Working with the design team at Landscape Structures & Coast Recreation, we fabricated many custom pieces including a T-Rex slide, a Brontosaurus slide, & a Pterodactyl keeping watch over it’s nest of eggs as well as the entire playground. Prehistoric climbing boulders, custom poured faux-rock benches, and poured-in-place rubber “jumping rocks” completed one of the most unusual playgrounds you will see and one your kids will love.
